3-Day Writing Intensive Workshop

Gather round for three days of writing in the Mediterranean, discussions about the craft, and storytelling on ancient grounds led by seasoned journalist Yulia Denisyuk.

We’ll practice together in the most inspiring settings while learning how to write well, structure a travel story, and craft winning personal essays.


PLUS: you'll join an exclusive live virtual session with a working travel editor and attend fun group activities to invigorate our creative senses, followed by the closing-night soirée.

This is a beginner-friendly workshop open to all levels: from emerging writers just dipping their toes into the practice to seasoned practitioners looking to reignite their creativity.

Tuition cost:

This pop-up intensive workshop is offered at a special inaugural tuition of $1,200. Future intensives will be run at a higher cost.


$400 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your spot. 


Full tuition is due by Fri, October 9, 2026.

Flights to Athens, accommodations, and meals not specifically mentioned are not included.

Meet your instructor:

Yulia Denisyuk is an award-winning journalist, photographer, and writer working in travel media since 2015. She's published in National Geographic, the New York Times, AFAR, TIME, Conde Nast Traveler, Vogue, and many others. 


She is also a seasoned instructor who has led master classes for National Geographic, Women In Travel Summit, Virginia Tourism, and more, and has taught travel journalism, photography, writing, and pitching to numerous students. 


Attendees of Yulia's past programs have been published in outlets like TIME, National Geographic, Conde Nast Traveler, and others.
